For example: TD/Game Scale = 4, Yards/Game Scale = 1, INT/Game Scale: = 1, Completion % Scale = 0.5
TDs: 4 times as valueable as ints and yards, Comp%: half as valuable as ints and yards

How this works 1. Sorts each year in the range by total passing yards and selects the top N players (N = number of teams)

2. Calculates the standard deviation for the 4 stat categories for each year in the range.

3. Compares each players stats to the average stats for each year in the range and divides by the std dev.
A value of +1 represents a player is better than ~84.1% of players in the stat category
A value of +2 represents a player is better than ~97.7% of players in the stat category
A value of +3 represents a player is better than ~99.9% of players in the stat category

4. Multiples each players stat category number by the scale factor and adds each category together. (yearly total)

5. Combines yearly totals for each player for every year they played and calculates the range average.

6. Sorts the range average and displays the top X players

Why do it this way?
This allows each player to be compared to others that played at the same time. This removes the era argument since rule changes and play styles have evolved favoring newer players.
The scale factor allows users to customize what they value in a player. (if you don't care about completion % just set it to 0)
